went to a typical Basque village , called Mundaka . There were a lot of little ships and people fishing . She thought it was fantastic .
Another day we visited Bilbao ’ s historical centre . We enjoyed visiting the old part of the city with all the shops , cafes and restaurants . Rut bought some souvenirs for her family and friends . She said that there was a lot of fun and entertainment there . It was great to see some people playing musical instruments in the streets . We also visited Casilda Iturrizar park . There were a lot of people practising sports or just hanging around . She said it was a quiet and peaceful place and we saw some ducks too . She visited the Guggenheim museum with the rest of German students and their teachers . She really liked the building because of its original architecture . She said that it was better than in the photographs she had already seen in the magazines .
We also went surfing to Sopelana and it was amazing .
The waves were high enough to practise it , so we had a lot of fun . The beach was beautiful although it was really cloudy . In the end it started to rain .
All in all , Rut liked the modern buildings of Bilbao and the old ones too . She thinks it is a beautiful and interesting city .
