Alexis Monsanto is the designer and founder of Alexis Monsanto Atelier , a fashion design studio in West Hollywood , California . Monsanto also took over the helm in Design & Product Development for Positano / Alona Apparel Inc ., Conjure / MASQ , The Evans Group , Tt Collection / Topson Downs of California , and Fluxus . In addition to designing for Alexis Monsanto / Los Angeles , he also creates a capsule collection with manufacturers like Artisan De Luxe , Ron Herman Vintage and Cado Clothing . He has been a yearly juror of Otis School of Art and Design , and a guest lecturer of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising .
Monsanto ’ s designs are savored for their exquisite tailoring and precision cuts that flatter a woman ’ s body and accentuate the natural curves and shapes of a woman ’ s silhouette . His treatment to fabrics as his canvas is transformed into glamorous evening gowns and two-piece ensembles that are classic yet suited for the woman with a fashion forward sensibility .

Caycee Black is a graduate from Parsons School of Design . After six years in the fashion industry designing for companies such as : Anna Sui , Club Monaco , Tibi , and Reed Krakoff , Caycee launched her namesake line in Fall 2009 . The collection revolves around her original paintings which she has translated into fabric prints . Her line has received numerous honors , most recently as best new designer by WWD , Lucky Magazine and Vogue . com . uk . She has dressed musicians and celebrities from the likes of Regina Spector , The Cults , Solange Knowles , Cat Sadler , Michelle Williams and Drew Barrymore .
Originally from Houston , Texas , Caycee now resides permanently in New York City . Since 2012 , Caycee has been donating a portion of her sales revenue to children in need . She feels it ’ s exceptionally important for these children to have an outlet to be able to express themselves creatively . Because of this Caycee chooses to give back to charities dealing with the arts including work shops , art supplies , music , and drama courses .
