“ A true passion that burns with your soul is one that can never be put out” Zach Toelke 3. Mirrors 5. What causes you to lose track of time? Make a list of the most successful people you know that are living their passion. Study them and find out how they found their passion, As well as how they turned their passion into a profession. Talk to them; their insights will inspire you and help you find direction. Then mirror what they are doing. When I am working, I have noticed that time disappears. A session has ended before I feel like it has even started, and I could still go on for ages but I have to stop because the next client is waiting. When I am painting, I have noticed the same thing happens, hours disappear before I surface smiling from my canvas. When I worked for a boss the minutes would drag by and the day always seemed so long, all I wanted to do was to go home. Living my passion I have found, I work longer hours than when I worked for a boss and I love every minute of it 4. List your Talents What are you good at and what are your natural talents? Don’t worry about the abilities that you are good at but don’t enjoy. Consider what people have complimented you on? Identifying things you love and things that you’re good at, it is an excellent way to unearth potential passions. Don’t be concerned if what you love, isn’t practical or common. I get very excited about the uncommon. Please note that you don’t have to be good at something for it to qualify as a passion. You don’t have to ever earn a penny of income from it either. Talent can simply be a clue. When it comes to your passions, the only thing that matters is that you enjoy them. 6. Pay attention to whom annoys you or makes you jealous Are there people doing things that are fun and silly? Do they aggravate you? Take a closer look at that annoyance. Is the truth behind your irritation that you really wish you could be confident enough to live the same way or that you didn’t have so many serious responsibilities and could be as “immature” as they are? If so learn from them instead of judging them.
