So, I chose Turkey as my next destination because I wanted to get a taste of the Eastern cultures, familiarize with their traditions, customs and generally their way of living. Through the European Voluntary Service, I can do something for myself and at the same time for someone else, which feels really fulfilling. Also I can say that I have visited another continent, due to Turkey's geographic location, which is pretty amazing.
My activities consist of working in the office. Working on the youth telegraph, video production, participating in project writing training, virtual and live debates, in conversation club and writing articles.
I really enjoy my EVS, while exploring the city, discovering new cuisine, meeting people and shopping. Even though I am on a short term, Istanbul, Antalya and Cappadocia are on my list as next destinations.
