Goodbye Letter from the Editors

Dear Beloved Reader ,

The Evolution seniors , all 12 of them , are moving on up in the world and leaving OCSA behind .

Some have at OCSA for six years , some fewer . Some will go on to study journalism , some will pursue the arts ( musical , comedic , or otherwise ). But they all will be missed . Here are their trajectories :

The time has come for us to part . This is the final issue of Evolution under our reign .

It has been quite a hoot to have been working for this glorious publication for the past two years .

From our spectacular field trip to the LA Times last spring , to our satitirical comments on current events , we have created some fun-filled memories . We could have not done any of these crazy shenanigans without our wonderful staff writers , production team , administration , and , of course , our classy guy of an advisor , Joshua Jennings Wood ! Without his grace and beauty , we don ’ t know where this paper would be today .

We can never forget you either , our readers , who have read our articles and have given us kind-hearted feedback .

There are many quotes we can close this letter with , beauties from such classics as “ High School

Musical ,” “ Camp Rock ,” or another nostalgic 2000s Disney Channel movie .

However , since we cannot close with a quote that will satisfy all readers we ’ ll end with a quote with which the one-and-only Oprah closed her final show : “ I won ’ t say goodbye . I ’ ll just say , until we meet again .”
