The challenge with this space is that it is , indeed , one giant room . The goal was to create an entire living space with different points of access . For the kitchen , a mindset of “ open concept , but functional ,” was adopted to address the unusual layout . The kitchen table doubles as a place for work and a place to sit and eat . This was necessary to create both a place to dine , and also have a separate living room .
KITCHENS
Counter space can make a deal or break it – very easily . In this kitchen , the amount of workspace was extended by adding a long-length , short width table that can be multi-functional . The option is left open to add barstools to one side for additional seating for guests .
There is a seamlessness between the two-tone cabinets and the appliances . The cabinetry makes a subtle , inviting statement .
