Spring Color Palettes

Green
68 l Spring 2017
This year , as we follow closely in the shadow of all things organic and natural , it is no surprise that green is going to be the color of choice . Green is an obvious color choice when creating an eco-friendly , environmentalist design . We don ’ t , however , want homeowners purchasing three gallons of bright hunter and having a house-painting party . The greens of 2017 are much more sophisticated to the eye , and provide a backdrop for a wide variety of themes and styles .

For a darker purple , try mulberry or mahogany shades and incorporate slate or another stone surface , such as exposed brick or a matte-finish , natural quartzite . The addition of stone into a space featuring a darker purple will emphasize the coolness and immediately make the room both more interesting , and cozier at the same time . The first and most natural reaction to this color and texture combination is going
