A Bachelor Bash With A Difference Our client, originally from Cape Town but now based in America, approached Event Affairs to arrange his brother’s bachelor party. Peter envisioned a sophisticated dinner for the bachelor party as the ages of the guests ranged from 35- to 75-years-old. The concept was decided and guests were sent a beautifully designed invitation paying tribute the groom’s successful art career. Guests were transported via shuttle to the V&A Waterfront where they boarded a stunning yacht. They were treated to a famed Cape Town sunset and catered to by a private chef on-board. The boat was decorated with striking yet masculine flower arrangements which were placed throughout the yacht. Everyone enjoyed the soothing sounds of Haydn, an acoustic guitar musician who created the necessary sense of occasion. The evening was captured by a photographer on board, creating memories John could cherish forever. The bachelor was thrilled and the 34 feeling of celebration was felt by all. Guests revelled in the Cape Peninsula views admired from the top deck, while chatting and catching up with old friends. A three-course meal prepared by the chef was then served and we received many compliments throughout each course. At the end of the evening, when all toasts were made and the last photo was snapped, the guests arrived back at the Waterfront and were returned home via shuttle. The evening was a great success that ended with tremendous smiles. What a wonderful and sophisticated way to celebrate John’s upcoming marriage!
