Celebrating 70 in Style
When our client, Vicky, asked us to help
their family celebrate a special milestone,
we were absolutely excited to sink our
teeth into the brief. Being from the UK,
she was unable plan the event herself.
Bespoke experiential events are close
to our hearts and a specialty we offer to
local and international clients.
Our team got together and created a
beautiful itinerary, full of activities that Vicky’s
70-year-old father would love. The two-day
event began with a stunning lunch and wine
tasting at La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek.
We set up a table under a big tree. The setting
was relaxed and scenic. The party was then
shuttled to Haute Cabriere, where the wine
tasting continued.
Dinner was served at The French
Connection Bistro and our guests were
dropped at their luxurious villas at La
Petite Dauphine.
The following morning, the family was
transported to Boschendal for more wine
tasting. (The birthday boy really loves his
wine.) A delicious lunch was then served at
the eclectic Werf Restaurant. The family
ended off their celebrations with a walk
32
in the gorgeous gardens. We received
glowing feedback from our client, which
makes our job an absolute pleasure.
Our experiential team loves putting
together personalised itineraries for
guests. If you can imagine it, we can
make it happen. Speak to us for your next

Helpful tips when planning your next
experiential experience:
DO: Get some beautiful flowers made up
by a florist for the table if your celebration
is at a restaurant. It really makes the
occasion feel more special and personal.
DO: Get a shuttle to transport you and
your guests. Not only is it safer but it
maintains the vibe for the day
DON’T: Choose a complicated route.
Keep your destinations within close
proximity of your accommodation so you
don’t waste precious celebrating time in
the car.
DON’T: Select too many destinations as
you will end up rushing. Choose two or
three at most, so you can relax and enjoy
your time at each one.
