Family Day
What better way to end off the
year than to celebrate it with your
colleagues! No? Well how about
bringing your Family along too and
making it a more fun-filled affair.
Many larger corporates are going
this route and we were delighted
to be part of this one recently.
Buitenverwachting’s
Paddocks
field was the perfect location
for this outdoor event with its
expansive rolling fields of green
grass, abundant vineyards and
open spaces. We needed to create
an inviting and entertaining space
from this expanse for 200 adults
and 130 children!
We created two close-knit but
uniquely
separate
areas
for
the adults and the kids and
even brought in Santa himself,
accompanied by his festive Elves,
to give the children a wonderful
surprise! Those who were not as
easily impressed had their socks
knocked off by the never ending
supply of ice cream from the soft
serve machines – heaven! With
activities such as puppet shows,
face-painting and balloon shaping
to name a few, the kids were
properly entertained and went
home with happy hearts and
probably gave their parents the
night off as they were exhausted
from all the fun!
The adults were just as spoilt
for choice by delicious food,
incredible live bands, a popular DJ
and strawberry daiquiris on arrival!
Not to mention the award winning
Buitenverwachting wines at the
ready all afternoon.
The day was spent having fun in
the sun and there is one thing you
can be sure of - next year’s event is
going to have to be spectacular to
beat the enjoyment had this year!
