Our Q&A session of a musician that returned to her passion only 6 years ago after a life changing experience and has no plans of slowing down. Kim Cameo By Luke Torres and NeVaughn Brown Q1 Where are you from? I grew up in Southern California (Thousand Oaks). I went to the beach every week, road skateboards and on weekend, hung at my friends pool. Q2: what started you in music and are there aspirations for film or tv in the works? KC: I began with a wooden instrument (the clarinet) at the old age of 5! After marching bands, musicals, high school plays and some garage bands, I decided to take music seriously and started my own project. On the film side, I have been selected to play a supporting role in an upcoming film, and have also been proposed to play a role in two TV reality shows. Right now, all my current work on TV can be heard only. (several of my songs have been placed in major TV shows) Q3: what kind of path did you travel that led you to were you are today? KC:I have always been in a love affair with music. But it was only 6 years ago, that through some life changing experiences, I decided life was too short not to be working exclusively with what I love. Q4: is it hard to be in the position you are in an still be a parent? KC: I have no children, but would guess it would be very challenging. Q5: Is there a goal that you have reached that once you've reached it you set your self new goals.? KC: I am all about the challenge. When I meet one face to face, I always look for another. I am a believer the harder you work, the better you will be. Q6: Who is your hero? KC: I have a mentor who is my hero. He is always positive, always thinking and turns goo into gold. I believe positive thinking is the key to staying alive and he is a great example of that. Q7: Is there anything about your life that if you could, you would change,
