Q1 Where are you from? SL:Mount Vernon, New York Q2: what started you in modeling and are there aspirations for film or tv in the works? SL:Since the age of 6, I wanted to be a entertainer. I love performing and the standing out. I aspire to be on film or to land major role on television. Last year, I walked for Latin Fashion Week. I have also be placed in the movies "Annie" and "Train Wreck". Q3: What lead you to were you are today? SL: As a small child, I would sing nursery rhymes with my Grandmother. She believed that I had talent and pushed by parents to get me singing lessons. Starting at the age of 6 my mom found singing, acting and modeling opportunities within the New York tri-state area. I have been performing ever since and now learning to play the piano and guitar. Skylar Love Q4: Ss it hard to be in the position you are in an still be a kid.? SL: No not at all, I like the spotlight. I like challenge and achieving what I set my mind to. I love performing and looking at the audience after performing and seeing everyone excited to be there. Q5: Is their a goal that you want to reach ? SL:Yes, I want to reach super stardom. I want to be a musical legend. I want people to be able to tell their children that my voice got them through hard times. I want girls to look at me and feel that there is a chance for them because there was a chance for me... anything is possible. Q6: is their a hero in your life.? SL: My mom is my hero. She has teaches me things that no one could really teach you unless they have really been there. My mom shares all of her life stories with me. She does not sugar coat them, because she wants to be understand that life is a gift and you have to work hard and keep moving forward, no matter what your challenges are in life. Q7: is there anything about your life that if you could, you would change, would you do it all again? SL:If I could go back to the beginning of middle school, I would do it over. So many things would be different. Because if I knew then what I know now, I would be a much stronger person when I dealt with "mean girls"; which unfortunately many young girls face in schools today. Q8: What are you most thankful for? My family and friends. Because they are extremely supportive. Q9: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? SL:See myself being a well known celebrity. Q10: What are some things you would like to see the everyday girl mag to express or showcase in up coming features? SL: Feature women and girls who are living their dream. I would love to be featured in your magazine as my career progress and share my message/story.
