the golden years of Hollywood: magical,
romantic, beautiful, nostalgic. But perhaps
one of the best ways to remember it is to
take a trip in time. Watch the great works
in all their glory and see the stars of the silver screen that
have shined and are still shining today. The Shopping Night
Barcelona wishes to pay tribute to this great roaring era
that continues to thrill generations. TSBN encourages par-
ticipants to join this exciting and artistic leitmotif that will
convert Barcelona and Passeig de Gràcia in a great movie set.
The charm of the cinema is that it can be enjoyed in many
other ways besides the big screen. Read the novel that
inspired the movie, listen to the soundtrack that added extra
depth, pick up a magazine, be inspired by the costumes and
fashions, absorb the production notebooks or be captivated
by the photography. The Shopping Night Barcelona has col-
laborated with local contemporary artists who will show-
case their interpretations of the big screen adding a further
dimension to how cinema can be enjoyed.
The fifth edition of The Shopping Night Barcelona is only
made possible with the collaboration of Generalitat de
Catalunya, L’Auditori, l’Acadèmia del Cinema Català, El
Gremi de Cinema de Catalunya, Gran Teatre del Liceu,
Círculo del Liceo / Cercle del Liceu, Reial Cercle Artístic
and the Raval Cultural.
