Despite the significant migration of foreign physicians into the German health sector , this sector faces a notable trend of physicians ’ emigration due to economic reasons , as well as reasons related to physician working conditions ( Kopetsch 2008 , A-716 ). During 2015 , the main destinations for physicians emigrating from the German health sector were the neighboring countries of Switzerland ( 629 physicians ) and Austria ( 264 physicians ).
