KFC will return to Sweden After 33 years of desire KFC will open up again in Sweden. KFC will be placed in the Stockholm area but the address has yet not been decided. The reason why KFC was shut down the year 1981 was because the owners and staff didn’t live up to the hygiene requirements. Today we hope that KFC will last despite the severe criticism they have received. But his friends disagree. They don’t think that KFC can match McDonald’s. Why KFC is reopening in Sweden is because of the increased consumption of chicken. More people eat chicken in Sweden today and what would be more perfect than opening a fast food chain that is popular all around Europe for its chicken. - It’s exciting and good because it’s never bad to have a fast food business around, they say. We asked four random students in our school what they think about the KFC news. - I don’t really care about KFC opening in Sweden, says Andrée, 16. - I think it’s great because they serve delicious food and it would go really well for KFC. I think that they would do better than McDonald’s in Sweden, says Gabriel, 17. As you can see most of the students that were interviewed in our school seem very happy about the news and they hope that KFC will settle down here for good. Andrina Benjamin and Cassandra Touma Two other students, Daniel and Anton, both 17, think it’s positive news. Other students don’t seem so interested in the news.
