Telecentre-danmark provided tuition materials
and brochures for ICT telecentres, activity centres,
libraries and partners in Copenhagen area.
GOW 2016 invitation to participate was sent
to 32 organisations. Estimated 25 centres and
65 instructors and 600 students participated in
activities (all instructors and students are over 60

“Moneyweek” that coincided with GOW 2016

instructed 21.000 students (aged 14-16) in safety
on netbanking.

The Estonian campaign coordinated by Smart Work
Association was built up of two parts. The first part,
that took place on the 14th of March, was about
informing young people that using the internet can
be unsafe if you don’t do it wisely. For informing
and reaching the youngsters the organisers sent
information about the internet safety issues to the
schools (to all school levels from kindergartens
to the universities) and media (online magazines,
Facebook, Youtube). The teachers spread the word
by posting it on the school websites and by talking
about it in the classroom.

Therefore, rules were set for the vlogs: for example,
organisers pointed out that it is important to
pay attention to what gets into the filmed vlogs,
reminded that it is not safe to show in the vlgos
home address or people without agreeing with it
etc. Also, it was not allowed to show any violence.
The second part of the campaign was the vlog
contest “Wise Youtuber 2016”. This kind of contest
was the best way to reach youngsters and get them
