elcome to the 2014 Spring/
Summer edition of European
Gaming Lawyer.
The aim of this magazine is to
bring together topical, insightful
and thought-provoking work from leading figures in
the gambling sector.
The focus is principally on European markets, and
as ever there is much to report. We have countryspecific contributions from leading advisors in the
Netherlands, Spain and Denmark. But the global
nature of the gambling industry is reflected in
articles on Brazil and India.
I am particularly pleased however that we also
have a number of contributions which are not
jurisdiction specific but which instead speak to
topics of universal importance in key gambling
