“MY CITY, MY
RULES”
In this workshop the participants were divided into groups and had the challenge to
build a city out of clay following some specific rules that were laid out on a piece of
paper, the twist then was that they were not allowed to talk during the workshop.
The real challenge however came when some of the participants were asked to
leave their table and join a different “city”. That is when the participants realised
that the rules of this new city were different. They had to find a way to adapt to the
rules of this new environment, without talking. This workshop illustrated the challenges
that come with being a migrant.
