PCA Committee executive team A meeting of the Corporate Policy & Affairs Committee was held on 1 March 2017. Representatives of EUROBAK’s company- members gathered to elect new executive team of PCA Committee, brief out the information on activities in 2016, and to agree on a unified position on the following matters of current importance. The newly elected team discussed the action plan with all involved participants from the committee and accepted a further strategy for 2017. Компании в составе ЕВРОБАК со- брались для того, чтобы избрать новую исполнительную команду комитета, рассказать о результатах работы в 2016 году и согласовать общую позицию по определенным значимым вопросам. Новая избранная команда обсудила план действий со всеми присутствующими участниками комитета и приняла дальнейшую стратегию работы на 2017 год. Margulan Ospanov Chairperson / EUROBAK PCA Committee EUROBAK Honorary Advisor and official representative in Astana Margulan Ospanov is EUROBAK Honorary Adviser and an expert in strategic communications. As an experienced practitioner in lobbying and policy-making, he helps companies to navigate an ever increasing maze of legislative and regulatory challenges and aims at helping to create policies that develop better business opportunities and growth. His professional carrier is closely tight with the extractive industries since 1999. His oil and gas career has started in Karachaganak project, where he held a position of Texaco, then ChevronTexaco representative at the projects, based in Aksai. Since he left Karachaganak in 2004 he continued with different position in Chevron, Repsol, KazEnergy Association and BG Group. Margulan has earned recognition within the investor and diplomatic communities in state policy advocacy, as well as with industry peers and government counterparts for actively contributing to improvement of the investment climate. Rashid Kabykayev Deputy Chairperson / EUROBAK PCA Committee Specialist for Corporate Communications and Government Relations / LLP “BASF Central Asia” Rashid joined LLP “BASF Central Asia” in 2015 as Marketing Specialist in Astana. Later, in September 2016, was appointed as Specialist for Corporate Communications and Government Relations. Previously worked in IT and Construction sectors. A graduate from University of the Fraser Valley, Canada. Dinmukhamed Aisautov Deputy Chairperson / EUROBAK PCA Committee Corporate Affairs Manager Central Asia and Mongolia / Imperial Tobacco Kazakhstan Dinmukhamed (Dimash) Aisautov has graduated from Kazakh-State Academy of Architecture and Construction in 1995 receiving MS in civil engineering degree. He also has graduated from Kazakh-State Academy of Management in 1999 receiving MS in Economics and Edinburgh Business School, Heriot- Watt University (UK) in 2011 and is a holder of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Dimash has worked in several industries not necessarily correlating with his education with examples being construction industry, oil and gas, public relations, corporate affairs and government relations as well as his private business in the HORECA sector.
