of grammar books, writing texts and doing
exercises, they had the opportunity to learn by
finding and sharing information, using ICT tools,
experimenting and comparing, and most
importantly in direct collaboration with their peers
in other countries. I am sure eTwinning projects
increased their motivation and their creativity, too.

There is no doubt that our students’ learning
contexts are changing in our schools nowadays and
that technology is playing an important part in the
types of teaching and learning practices and
pedagogies. I think all teachers who care about
their personal and professional development should
get involved in eTwinning! Because eTwinning is a
unique portal for the whole educational community,
and all European teachers and students should
experience it. The best advantage of eTwinning
projects is that you only need a computer and
Internet connection to join it. You can start a virtual
travel around Europe whenever you want and you
can find out about different cultures easily thanks
to eTwinning. I am confident that, once you join it,
you will keep it forever just like me and thousands
other addicted eTwinning teachers all over Europe.
