The purpose of this one day lecture program is to update attendees on a broad spectrum of esthetic restorative materials and provide information that will assist you in the complex decision making process of “ what to use ”. Faculty Bio :
Dr . Hewlett
Dr . Edmond R . Hewlett received his D . D . S . degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and then completed a 1-year general practice residency program at the University of Illinois Medical Center , Chicago . Returning to Los Angeles , In 1987 , Dr . Hewlett was appointed to the full-time academic faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Section of Operative Dentistry , and promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 1994 . In June , 2003 , Dr . Hewlett completed postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at UCLA and was awarded a certificate in this dental specialty . He is currently Professor and Vice-Chair of Restorative Dentistry at UCLA , and was appointed in 2011 to the position of Associate Dean for Outreach and Diversity .
