Advanced Surgical
Implant Placement/Grafting Surgery: Module 3
Dates: TBA
For the ultimate learning experience, Module 3 provides a unique and rare opportunity to actually place implants or
bone grafts on live patients if you have taken module 1 and/or 2 of the implant placement and grafting series. Small class
size and optimal dentist-faculty ratios create a rare and unique learning experience.
(Lecture/Demo/Hands-On)
Clinical Module 3 provides a surgical implant placement or grafting experience to participants of Modules 1 and or
2.* Participants are encouraged to provide their own patients because limited EP patients are available. Participants
will work in pairs. This will optimize the clinical exposure. Diagnostic x-rays, photos and study models and a
tentative treatment plan must be submitted at least 1 month before the surgical date and pre-approved by the
surgeon covering the procedure. All surgical patients must be seen for a post-op follow up check to make sure that
there are no complications. Patients pay a clinic fee to cover clinical expenses.
(To enroll in this clinical program, it is mandatory to have taken the module
that covered the clinical procedures to be performed.)
