ducationSuperHighway is a non-profit organization focused on
upgrading the Internet access in every public school classroom in
America. Recently they released The 2015 State of the States report
which tracks progress toward the K-12 connectivity goals established
by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and provides state
leaders with the information they need to finish the job of connecting
America’s students to high-speed broadband. The report tracks national
and state progress toward achieving connectivity goals and the key requirements for meeting future connectivity needs: access to fiber or
equivalent high-speed infrastructure, sufficient Wi-Fi equipment in classrooms to support 1:1 digital learning, and affordable pricing.
