Elo offers several touchscreen solutions , including POS systems and interactive signage displays from 10 to 70in . As one of the original inventors of the touchscreen , Elo now has over 20 million retail and hospitality installations in more than 80 countries , with products designed and built to last .
One of the most novel uses of its touchscreens that they ’ ve seen is from mifitto , a German retailer . They introduced foot scanners that were used to help measure shoppers feet accurately , with the measurements displayed on an Elo touchscreen . Based on these measurements and data on screen , sales assistants would be able to suggest what shoes , and in which size , would be perfect for the customers ’ feet . The customer can also browse the products using the screen .
Elo recently announced the release of three new touch products – the 4343L and 5543L touchscreens , the 5502L touchscreen signage and the E-Series 15E3 15in touchscreen .
The E-Series 15E3 15in touchscreen computer is aimed at the retail and hospitality markets due to its robust and rugged design . Designed with an edge-to-edge glass , the 15E3 all-in-one computer features Elo ’ s TouchPro Pro-G projected capacitive ( PCAP ) or AccuTouch five-wire resistive touch technologies .
The 5502L , 55in touchscreen is for signage in interactive applications in commercial markets . The 5502L is available in three configurations , including the TouchPro PCAP , IR and a non-touch version , enabling a mixed-deployment unified design . At a depth of only 2in , the profile integrates into modern interiors for retail , corporate , hospitality and healthcare applications and is built to withstand 24 / 7 use in public environments . The 4343L and 5543L large-format , open-frame touchscreens are available with TouchPro Pro-M projected capacitive ( PCAP ) technology . The 43in and 55in models deliver up to 12 touches simultaneously . With a 2.6in profile , these touchscreens are robust , making them suitable for self-service applications where space is limited , including retail , restaurants , hotels , gaming , transportation and medical applications .

The CX10 ’ s integrated 10in , touch-capacitive 1280x800 WXGA-resolution LCD screen delivers simple , intuitive control of the environment and entertainment . Going beyond control , the touchpanel is also a vibrant HD video display , supported through an integrated HDBaseT input and stereo speakers .
Easy to mount on a countertop or beneath a cabinet , the display has a tilt range from 10 to 90 degrees for the best viewing angle possible . Additional user-friendly features include video intercom support and a built-in composite input to view video from security cameras and other devices . For users ’ convenience , a proximity sensor automatically brings the unit to life when approached .
