We are also incredibly excited to be working with
technology partners, giving our dealers access to a
comprehensive range of home theatre technology.
Barco Residential projectors provide phenomenal
cinematic experience, you can truly see the movie as
the director intended. The Loki Dual Phosphor Laser
Projector, which we are now shipping, is available in 2
resolutions - either the 1.78 ratio 3840 x 2160 or the
awesome 2.37 ratio 5120 x 2160 CinemaScope version.
This means no black bars when watching movies, no
loss of light, maximum resolution and no need for
complicated, bulky anamorphic lenses. Barco’s own focus
on quality and innovation sits comfortably alongside
our own brand values and together we can provide an
unbeatable home theatre experience.
Completing the home theatre technology partnerships
are Cinema-ATS and DT Screens, which are also available
from Meridian. Cinema-ATS provides innovative and high
quality acoustic treatment solutions for home cinemas at
a competitive price, giving integrators ultimate flexibility
when working with this crucial component of a home
theatre. DT Screens provides easy-to-install acoustically
transparent projection screens that offer complete
flexibility in size and aspect ratio, which makes it easy for
integrators to deliver the perfect viewing experience. We
are also excited to announce that DT Screens is launching
two new sizes of screens, up to 6m wide, for a truly
impressive home theatre, as well as the facility for custom
artwork on their popular art mask screen.
We know how challenging it can be for integrators
working on multiple different projects to design home
theatres from scratch, specifying the entire technology
setup including projector, audio, projection screen
etc, especially when they also have to provide control,
automation, security and so on. That’s why we have
integrated all of our partners’ technologies, including
Barco projectors, DT Screens and Cinema-ATS panels
into our complimentary Design and Specification Service.
This makes it quicker and easier for integrators to select
and specify the right product for the application. All the
integrator has to do is send us a schematic of the room or
home they are working in and Meridian will provide co-
branded drawings of the proposed system layout and an
associated wiring diagram, typically within 48 hours, at no
cost. This includes the ideal loudspeaker layout to ensure
the ultimate audio experience, where the projector
should be positioned to optimise viewing angles and
where the acoustic panels should be installed. The Design
and Specification Service is all about adding value for
our customers and helping integrators to achieve the
exceptional performance expected from our technology

Get Some Education!
As part of the support we offer to our dealers, we have
developed the Meridian Home Theatre School, focusing
on giving dealers the full range of skills and knowledge
they need to design and create unbeatable home theatres.
We will be offering regular training sessions and bespoke
learning experiences hosted in our spectacular demo
home theatre at our HQ in Huntingdon. The Meridian
home theatre also provides the ideal opportunity to see
a wide range of our products in action and is always
available to integrators who want to demonstrate the
potential of a top-class home theatre to clients.
With so much to look forward to, we must not forget
that we have a 40 th birthday party to organise. At CEDIA
San Diego we will host a celebration in the afternoon
of Friday September 8 to introduce some exciting new
products to the market and then in late September we
will host another event in London to launch these new
products in the UK market and outline our plans for the
coming year. Looking even further forward to ISE 2018 we
will be marking our 40 th anniversary as well as introducing
additional new products within the European market.
It is an incredibly exciting time for us at Meridian,
celebrating a significant anniversary and looking ahead
to exciting new products, increasing the value that we
can offer our dealers, strengthening our partnerships with
fellow technology innovators and developing the support
