ATC Introduces ‘Home Theatre Series’ On-Wall Speakers
ATC Loudspeaker Technology has re-modelled its passive SCM7, 11 and 40 speakers to create the company’s fi rst
range of high performance on-wall speakers for the custom residential market.
Available in three sizes and in vertical and horizontal confi gurations, the Home Theatre Series (HTS) systems can be
combined to generate ATC’s signature low-distortion, wideband audio dynamics in virtually any space from slender
unobtrusive cabinets measuring less than 5.5in deep.
The six new HTS models feature a sealed-cabinet design for mounting on or into walls. Available in white or black
satin, each model has been engineered to blend with a range of room sizes.
The series comprises the vertically-confi gured HTS7, HTS11 and HTS40 speakers and their companion HTS7C,
HTS11C and HTS40C horizontally-confi gured versions. All HTS models benefi t from the proprietary ATC drive unit
technology deployed by their counterparts, including SH25-76 dual-suspension tweeters (all models), constrained
layer damping bass-mid drivers (HTS11) and three-inch Soft Dome mid-range and 164mm short coil/long gap bass
drivers (HTS40).

Savant Systems Europe has announced the introduction of Wally, a range of
dedicated touch screens for intuitive access to smart home features.
The Wally line-up has been designed to blend seamlessly into any décor
while placing climate, lighting, entertainment and more at the fi ngertips of the
homeowner as well as Savant Scenes technology that personalises the smart
home experience for each user.
The Savant Wally touch screen product line includes high-resolution
colour touch screens utilising technology from Savant’s Pro Remote.
Wally can control integrated climate, advanced lighting, entertainment
and activation of Savant Scenes to give users the convenience of smart
home control from a small, in-wall form factor. Wally touch screens utilise
a presence sensor to activate them automatically as a person approaches,
making them easy to use.
The fi rst Wally product to be available is a single gang 5.5in touch screen
(with 2.9in and eight-inch versions to follow later in the year).
For integrators, the Wally product line is simple to install, fi tting in a
traditional single gang enclosure and low voltage powered using Power
over Ethernet (POE 802.3af).
