Essential Install | Brackets, Racking & Support The Peerless-AV DS-VW775 Supreme video wall mount Future Automation has developed pull and turn service brackets which allow screens to be mounted 13mm from the wall “The Supreme offers 38mm of travel on each of the X, Y and Z axis using red adjustment knobs, eliminating the need for tedious calculations and helping to create seamlessly aligned video walls. Furthermore, the mount is 25° lighter in comparison to previous models, making it easier to handle and position, especially when combined with the easy hang adaptor plate, install app and reusable display-dedicated wall plate spacers.” The Supreme Mount supports 46in to 60in displays with a maximum load of 57kg (125lb) and VESA pattern up to 400 x 400mm (which can be extended to 600 x 400 and 800 x 400 with adaptors). Melinda says: “This mount is in line with Peerless-AV’s long tradition of innovation. It has been developed to address all the needs of the installer to deliver a mount that is quick and easy to install, as well as being simple to align to ensure a completely seamless appearance for any size or confi guration of video wall.” With fl at panel displays getting ever bigger, Peerless- AV says there is an increasing requirement for larger mounts to support these super-sized screens. Melinda says: “Not only do the latest large format SmartMount solutions accommodate the VESA pattern and weight of these displays, they also feature post- installation fi ne tuning for perfect alignment. “Due to their extended overall width when larger screens are not fi tted perfectly level, or are not aligned to the angle of the walls or ceiling, the effect can be more pronounced and noticeable. The ability to independently adjust the height at either side provides an effective roll of up to fi ve degrees without having to remove the screen or take down the bracket and re- mount it.” SmartMount is available in either fl at-to-wall (SF670/ SF680) or with tilt functionality (ST670/ST680). With modern screens getting slimmer and slimmer, Future Automation says it has recognised the need for slimmer articulated mounting brackets that still provide the functionality and support of deeper and more heavy duty hardware. The company has developed its SB40 and SB55 pull and turn service brackets which, by the use of a recessed back box, allow screens to be mounted 13mm from the wall while still allowing up to 395mm of forward movement and 45° of bi-directional swivel. Suitable for screens from 40in to 75in, the SB40 and SB55 brackets are fully compatible with Future Automation’s new VOA Vertical Offset Adaptor, which enables super slim screens with very low down VESA patterns to be mounted at a sensible height onto any VESA compatible bracket. Future Automation has also developed a range of In Wall Boxes for its award-winning PS Articulated Wall Mount range. These double width back boxes allow the PS42, PS50 and PS60 wall mounts to be fully recessed into a wall cavity while also providing additional space for HDMI Baluns, AV distribution hardware, power sockets and cables either side of the bracket without adding any extra depth behind the TV. Using a Future Automation PS bracket and Wall Box combination allows screens from 42in to 85in to be fl ush mounted to the wall while still allowing screens to be pull out and rotated up to 45° left or right. Future Automation says: “With customers wanting slimmer screens and brackets while still requested the pull and turn functionality of standard TV wall mounts to enable multiple view angles, the Future Automation Service Brackets and In Wall Boxes are a great way to provide this functionality while maintaining a professional looking fi nish to the install.” BLACK SERIES CIXT1 - EXTRA LARGE TILTING MOUNT Distributed in the UK by AWE Europe Ltd [email protected] +44 (0)1372 729 995 www.awe-europe.com July 2017 | 39
