Showtime! Essential Install Live! Evolves Again
EI Live! takes place
on May 10-11 2017,
Sandown Park,
Surrey
Some of you may already be aware, but next year
some big changes are coming to the Essential Install
Live! concept. The first one of note, is it won’t be called
Essential Install Live! anymore, the snappier and already
widely used EI Live! will now be the title.
The other big news is that the show is changing from a
two-event regional model to a single event national show.
I know this will not necessarily come as welcome news
to installers based in the North. We have always tried to
represent and reflect in the shows and the magazine the
whole of the UK install community. However, after much
deliberation, the decision has been taken to feed all the
resources at the company’s disposal into a single national
event. Our aim is to make the show a ‘must-visit’ event
which will be worth the extra travel and associated costs.
Other changes for 2017 include a change of date to
a more visitor-friendly May 10-11, at the regular venue of
Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey. Slightly shorter show days
will also be introduced with the show being open from
10am to 4pm.
EI Live! has always been predominately a domestic
focused show, this will not change, but as more installers are
involving themselves in the light commercial sector, expect
more representation for this market sector at the event.
A New Show: Network
Communications Live!
All Things Media will also use its reach in other markets to
deliver a new event in the same venue on the same dates.
Network Communications Live! will focus on the
growing market of specialist network cabling and network
creation in the light and heavy commercial worlds. This
initiative will provide a new element to the show as well as
the attraction of crossover between the two sectors. This
show will be promoted heavily through the pages of All
