Essential Install | Products Optoma Unveils New HD28DSE Projector Optoma’s projector has an enhanced gaming mode for speedy scores Optoma has unveiled the next evolution of its HD28DSE home entertainment projector, the HD29Darbee. With 3,200 lumens, this new model is brighter, smaller, and quieter. Exclusive to Optoma projectors, the new HD29Darbee boasts integrated DARBEE Visual Presence image enhancement technology for high- quality levels of depth, clarity and realism. Enhanced Gaming Mode is also included with a 16ms response time for a fast response in games that depend on reaction time. The addition of higher brightness, smaller chassis, quieter operation and an enhanced colour wheel, make this model an extremely convenient choice for use in any living space.” Weighing less than 2.5kg the HD29Darbee can be transported with an optional carry bag for a sports event, movie night or games marathon. Two HDMI inputs enable an easy setup – well suited for connecting a laptop, PC, Blu-ray player, media streamer or games console. This projector also works with Optoma’s WHD200 which is designed to stream video content wirelessly – up to 20 metres in any room. For added convenience, the HD29Darbee comes with an integrated speaker that delivers 10W audio. Despite the small dimensions of the projector, the level of audio created will easily fi ll a living space, says the maker. Using the BeoLab 90’s advanced sound customisation technology, the maker says the BeoLab 50 has been created to offer radical technological innovation and provide an audio performance beyond reference. The loudspeaker’s distinct appearance refl ects the technologies applied while still fi tting elegantly into any interior dé cor. Using an external microphone, the active room compensation measures the physical acoustic surroundings and applies the ideal fi lters to produce optimum sound at the listening positions or throughout the entire room.
