Essential Install | Training Blustream are launching a webinar series TCD’s webinar will show how to create fast and beautiful design The Ivory Egg training journey is designed to provide all the training you need as you develop your KNX business. It says it aims to ensure that it not only provides the standard KNX training but also customises this and develop further training to ensure integrators have an in-depth knowledge, allowing them to work confidently and independently. Ivory Egg is now offering a selection of courses designed specifically to provide a full spectrum of training from the very first steps into KNX and how it works to the more advanced systems. Its Technician course sets installers up with all the key skills required to specify, design, commission and support a KNX system. The course has a focus on practical skills so using Ivory Egg’s custom designed training kits practitioners will start programming almost immediately. The complexity of the exercises is increased over the three days allowing plenty of time to practice what you have learnt with the support of an experienced tutor. The Cinema Designer (TCD) will be hosting a webinar for home cinema professionals on September 20 at 11am BST. The online seminar will be taught by TCD’s creator Guy Singleton, an experienced, CEDIA Award winning home cinema installer. During the one-hour webinar, Guy will guide attendees through the process of creating technically accurate high render channel count immersive audio home theatres using cloud-based design tool, TCD. The system’s latest update enables users to quickly and accurately design high render channel count home theatres with ease; attendees will walk away from the webinar fully equipped to design these cinemas for themselves. Trinnov Audio’s recommended speaker whitepaper has been incorporated int o TCD, allowing home cinema installers to confidently design technically accurate 32 channel count Dolby Atmos and DTS:X home cinemas in a matter of minutes. Webinar attendees will see how quickly TCD creates a standards-based, scientifically designed set of drawings, complete with information about the performance that should be expected from any particular combination of speakers and amplifiers. TCD allows the designer to quickly hone in on the optimal range of equipment for the particular project, producing a 30+ page proposal ready to produce to the client for review, including creating a 3D CAD drawing in 30 seconds. Trinnov feels so strongly about the importance of TCD that is has become a requirement for the manufacturer’s Level I Certification program: any company looking to achieve Level I Certification must attend a live training event and either sign up and demonstrate their ability to use TCD, or demonstrate that they have all the engineering resources in place to do an equally good job designing these more complex theatres.
