Other parts of the range include Ruckus’ 802.11ac
Unleashed access points, packed with ten years of
patented Wi-Fi performance innovation. Users can
take advantage of higher speeds, better coverage, and
improved reliability through key Ruckus technologies,
such as BeamFlex+ Adaptive Antenna Technology,
combined with MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple-Input
Multiple-Output) capability, which boosts network
throughput by serving multiple clients simultaneously.
Traditional wireless antennas are either
‘omnidirectional’ (radiating signals in all directions) or
‘directional’ (radiating signals in one direction). Ruckus
BeamFlex Adaptive Antenna Technology enables the
antenna system within a Ruckus AP to continually sense
and optimise its performance according to environment.
BeamFlex+ is an enhancement of Ruckus BeamFlex,
enabling antennas to adapt to client device orientation, as
well as client device location.
The new product introductions include the R510-U
entry-level Indoor 2x2:2 2.4/5GHz 802.11ac Wave 2
Wi-Fi access point, delivering up to twice the range and
coverage of competitive products in medium-density
deployments. The new R610-U high-level Indoor 802.11ac
Wave 2 Wi-Fi access point is designed for high-density
environments, offering three-stream MU-MIMO 3x3:3 and
data rates of up to 1900 Mbps. The Ruckus Unleashed
T710-U is an IP67-rated high capacity outdoor 802.11ac
Wi-Fi Access Point, and the H510-U is a wall-mounted
2x2:2 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi access point combined
with a wired switch for the connection of up to five wired
devices with integrated Gb Ethernet ports. Designed for
easy installation over a standard wall outlet, the H510-U
offers PoE input (802.3af/at) for easy deployment without
additional power outlets.
Habitech is also now stocking Ihiji’s new APP-750
Network Management Appliance, giving UK integrators
direct access to Ihiji products, complete with lower
shipping costs and local support.
The Ihiji APP-750, which replaces the former APP-500,
features an upgraded chipset for improved performance
and a network bus that allows it to more accurately test
modern ISP speeds up to 1-Gigabit-per-second. Priced to
fit within any budget, and engineered to accommodate
current technology demands, the APP-750 offers a robust
solution in a market that is increasingly demanding high-
performance, flexible Remote Systems Management
(RSM) solutions. The APP-750 can be paired with either of
the recently announced Ihiji Invision licensing plans.
For instance, when the APP-750 is paired with a new
