The Luxul XWS-1310 includes one XWC-1000 , three XAP-310 APs and three PoE injectors . This is the maker ’ s solution to get a small wireless network up and running with seamless roaming .
The XWC-1000 Wireless Controller uses Luxul ’ s Roam Assist technology to ensure seamless roaming of mobile client devices within wireless networks that utilise more than one wireless access point , while providing simple , centralised deployment of up to 16 Luxul access points through an easy-to-use setup wizard . With seamless roaming , installation simplicity and sensible pricing , the XWC-1000 is purpose built to meet the needs of the residential and light commercial custom install .
The XWC-1000 is compatible with all Luxul standard power APs , as well as the XAP-12xx and XAP-15xx series of high-power APs — allowing installers to mix and match APs to maximize the performance and budget of each project . The XWC-1000 is available standalone , or in kits complete with APs and PoE hardware .
Key features of the XAP-310 include standard output power ( 100mW ), single band 2.4GHz and data transfers of up to 300Mbps . The Luxul brand is available from Invision UK .
Also in Luxul news , WyreStorm has announced the connectivity brand as the latest in a growing number of networking equipment manufacturers to offer support for the WyreStorm NetworkHD AV over IP system . WyreStorm ’ s addition of Luxul as its latest technology partner not only reflects the rapid growth of the AV over IP platform but also illustrates how quickly NetworkHD has been embraced by integrators looking for scalable , reliable networked AV alternatives to fixed matrix distribution .
Luxul switches offering support for WyreStorm NetworkHD include the AMS-2624P , AMS-1208P and AMS-4424P models – all part of Luxul ’ s ‘ AV Series ’ and are purpose-built for use with AV equipment .
Luxul ’ s AV Series switches feature rear panel ports and front facing LEDs for clean integration with AV rack systems , while also offering user selectable blue / green LEDs that allow for consistency with other rack mount equipment . Also supported is the XMS-2624P , which offers a traditional front-facing port alternative .
