It’s Time To Go Live!
A very warm welcome to our special EI
Live! preview edition of the magazine.
Of course we would argue that every
issue of EI is special, however show
issues always have a particular
place in our hearts as we redouble
our efforts in particular at this
time to not only provide the best
magazine we can, but also a live
experience to go with it.
When we first launched EI
magazine into what at the time
was quite a crowded market,
we were confident that what we were going to produce,
would quickly allow the magazine to rise to the top of
the pile and stay there. Not only have we managed that
with the help and support of the industry, we have gone
further and the magazine is now one of only two trade
titles which operate in the sector as a direct result of the
level of popularity EI mag has generated.
We take our presence in the live arena every bit as
seriously as the magazine and have worked hard to
produce a show that fits exactly the needs of the market
we represent. We always however appreciate and need
feedback from the industry and organisers have been
keen over the years to seek input from exhibitors and
visitors alike. So the show as it exists today is in no small
part a direct result of this feedback; in a very real sense
this is your show and we will continue to work closely with
the industry to make sure we deliver.
Inside this issue you will find our usual dedicated
preview of the show, highlighting just a few of the
initiatives and launches that the show will offer this year.
Also included with this issue is the official show guide, so
you can start to plan your visit.
This year I would particularly like to draw your
attention to the Learning Zone: we have some really top
speakers and intriguing subjects this time around, check
out the details in our preview, beginning on page 39.
HEADLINE SPONSOR
The show-floor will feature many launches, exclusives
and offers only available at this event, making the show a
must-attend. Which technologies will dominate this year?
Voice control? Home cinema? Something else? You will
have to be there to find out.
If you are a show regular or someone who has never
been to the event before, this year, as the industry stands
on the edge of a much higher profile and potential for
expansion, it has never been more important to make
the time to visit. If you are a smart building veteran or
just beginning your journey into the industry, EI Live! has
something for you.
We would particularly like to thank this year’s sponsors
for making such a big effort in helping us create this year’s
event. Headline sponsors are HDANYWHERE and the
Learning Zone sponsor is CYP.
