world of projectors and screens.
Distributor AWE is one of the companies which has
enhanced its offering of late with an expanded product
line-up and its own demo facilities. The company
exclusively distributes fi xed and tab tensioned electric
Draper projector screens in the UK which offer ambient
light-rejecting fabric making them strong home cinemas
performers, particularly where a complete room blackout
is either not possible, or not desired. The Clarion fi xed
screens are available as standard in a range of sizes, from
92in to 133in and there are also Adaptive tab-tensioned
electric versions ranging from 86in to 104in with bespoke
sizes available on order.
On the Clarion fi xed frame version, a black Vel-Tex covered
aluminium frame forms an attractive 3.8cm border around the
screen. Without the need for snaps or tools, the fabric attaches
to the frame to form a smooth viewing surface. The Vel-
Tex fi nish eliminates refl ections on the silver/grey screen
which has the same 1.0 gain as a matt white screen.
As well as ReAct technology, Draper also offers
other fabrics including Matt White and acoustically
transparent NanoPerf.
