Great Britain promoted to
World Group with play-off win
over Kazakhstan
Great Britain ended a 26-year wait for Fed Cup
promotion when Katie Boulter fought back to seal
their 3-1 win over Kazakhstan.
Many of our Pro Tour Stringers were busy
stringing Fed Cup around the World. Two got to
face off against each other in London with Paul
Skipp stringing for Great Britain and Giancarlo
Sparla stringing for Kazakhstan.
Master Professional Stringer Level 2 - Tennis
We are now ready to off er testing with the MPS Level 2. After a year of setting up the test to be the
highest level certifi cation for someone not interested in tournament stringing, we will start testing
next month.
Here is some information on the test:
Practical -
Change Pallets on a racquet with Pallet System.
Grip the racquet with a leather grip.
Change the grommets on a diffi cult racquet - Head Prestige or Babolat Pure Drive.
String a racquet ATW with natural gut.
Tune 2 racquets to our specifi cations.
Written - 60 questions covering the following areas
Racquet Technologies
String Technologies
Shop Management
Marketing
Tuning and racquet repair
