Würth Elektronik eiSos, German manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, is a partner and sponsor of Abt Formula E Racing Team. A multi-year contract was signed by both companies in the Norisring in Nuremberg on June 29, 2014. Würth Elektronik (@we_online) expects that in addition to increasing brand awareness, its involvement in Formula E will provide an important stimulus for the technological development of components for electric drives and e-Mobility.
Abt’s home race was on Saturday May 23, 2015 in Berlin. Bunmi Ade (@F1nomics)) caught up with Oliver Optiz, who is responsible for the Strategic product development at Würth Elektronik eiSos and is the project leader for the technology partnerships to discuss the race and their partnership.
