The next stop on te Formula E Calendar is California. Sunny skies and west coast shores that kiss the mighty Pacific provide the backdrop for the Formula E Long Beach ePrix.

How can one improve on that you may ask? Well how about making it the Long Beach #FreePrix! The second of the back to back US races will in fact be free of charge. Fans will be treated to a full day of Formula E on and off track events and entertainment.

Long Beach Mayor is a big supporter of the event. When it was announced that Formula E would be competing in the city, he had this to say,

"Long Beach is proud to be among the elite group of international cities hosting the FIA Formula E Championship...The Long Beach ePrix will bring a new generation of race fans to the iconic streets of Long Beach."

Just over 2km of twisted asphalt will be the canvas on which the drivers will leave their mark. The street circuit will be reconfigured for the race to be held April 4th which is round six of the championship.
