get the car ready for Le Mans, the incident had "put any chance of competing out of the window."

Nick Leventis, who is part of the driver line-up and the team's founder apologised on behalf of the team in respect of the impact that the accident at Spa had, but the motivation to bounce back to make the project a success is still there: "Everybody has worked tirelessly to get this car to where it needs to be and we are really sorry that we won't be out this year. We owe it to everyone involved in the project to make this a success and we will."

Strakka will continue to assess the fall-out from what happened at Spa, and will be working in hand with the WEC, FIA and ACO to get back racing as soon as the car is back together and testing goes unhindered.
