NEWS

56 cars will still start Le Mans after Krohn Racing accepted a late invite from race organiser the Automobile Club de l'Ouest enter in the GTE Am class.

The drivers for the Ferrari 458 Italia (run from Risi Competizione workshops in Texas) will be team owner Tracy Krohn, Nic Jonsson and former Ram Racing driver Ben Collins.

“We could not be happier to receive this invitation from the ACO to race at Le Mans again this year” said Tracy Krohn after accepting the invitation. "It will be the ninth year for Nic and I and we are excited to have Ben (Collins) joining us.”

"We've got plenty to do in the next couple of weeks to get our car prepared and to ACO specs, but we'll do it and be ready for race week." He added.

Given Krohn, Jonsson and Collins are on the list of approved drivers alloed to compete at Le Mans, Krohn Racing had been given an exemption from attending last weekends Le Mans test.
