but there is slightly less in terms of the engine power due to the restrictions that are now in place, but the single biggest factor is that it is heavier.

All of the talents that are honed and developed in single seaters and the mentality that is instilled when it comes to racing is what LMPs are all about. If you want to be an LMP driver, you kind of have to have that single-seater knowledge and a pretty high level of experience when it comes to it. Including categories like FIA F3.

Allan is a very switched-on individual when he was in the car during his lengthy career, as well as out of it. His wealth of knowledge is something that has helped in the current Audi Sport era that is set to continue.

Any driver that is a potential candidate will be looking at in a methodical and analytical way that is a good foundation to help recruit those that will help Ingolstadt to further glory. But with his understanding of the 2014 regulations, it will also help in potential decisions that the team may have to make, as there are many individuals like himself, Emmanuelle Pirro and Dindo Capello that were there this past weekend.

This shows that the Audi Sport family has a lot of trust in the people they have in their operations, and the success in endurance racing that they have amassed over the past thirteen years is a true testament to their imprinted legacy that has shaped the future in years to come.
