“Our trip was awesome, a HUGE adventure - everything from the flight to the USA to our stay in the OMNI Austin Downtown, to our visit to Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
Austin people were always up for a chat. The cab drivers did a good job; they were very open to us and had some impressive stories to tell and pictures to show. (Thank Mr P. W.). Actually, as soon as people recognized that we were not locals or maybe they thought we were actual members of the Porsche team, the conversations started and went on and on...
The hospitality and service at the OMNI hotel where we stayed was great, and we met almost every Porsche Works driver because they and other team-members were staying at the OMNI too! Getting the chance to talk to them, whilst they were signing our Porsche caps and 1/43 Model cars was a once in a lifetime experience – including a little joking around, as it should be!
We felt like we were actually part of the team so it was a little bit difficult to for us to split up (say our goodbyes) after the weekend.
But the whole track experience and Porsche Motorsport ambiance was great and to get the chance to experience American AND German Porsche Motorsport awesomeness at COTA was one thing we'll never forget - that's for sure - There is no substitute!

I’d like to thank Fred & Farid Group, the Porsche Motorsport WEC Team, the Porsche Motorsport NA Team and last but not least, a very special girl from Porsche Germany for having us Dutch guys with her almost through the whole event. We really enjoyed her company and thanks for showing us the whole 9-yards on Porsche Motorsport Lifestyle. Unforgettable!
