The butterflies come alive in my stomach reminding me of when I was a child and I’d get to travel back to my dad's house in St. Louis; I would rush into his arms full of joy and no stress.

I feel like this is what home should feel like. Just bliss. This is what I wish home could feel like....maybe it's supposed to be with him then? As the time passes the talk and occasional moment where we just get to soak in the sparsity of being together is nothing but comfortable. We avoid all the topics that would add too much density to the air. College, moving, financial struggles, and family are all on that list.

We have to go to Wal-mart right now but I just want to take a detour and forget about time. Laughter and music fill the car as if our 10 minute drive was a 10 hour road trip. The way that time stops when we are together is amazing. The cars seem to move by in slow motion. The clouds freeze in the sky. The grass glistens a plethora of greens. And for a split second everything in the world seems at peace.
