In this third edition of the Equine Health Update for 2017 we include a number
of articles from the Equine Veterinary Journal, which have been reproduced with
kind permission of the Editor Celia Marr. The first article, "Clinical highlights from
50th Congress of the South African Equine Veterinary Association 2017" was
written for EVJ by our very own Sean Miller and Keith Spargo, so very well done
to them for putting that together. The second article includes some abstracts
from the most recent edition of EVJ and we hope to be able to include more of
those in future editions.

The cpd articles in this edition include sections of the notes from the pre con-
gress abdominal wetlab. Bruce Bladon and Michael Schramme put together an
excellent series of lectures and we are fortunate to be able to reproduce that
for SAEVA members. The full series of lectures can be accessed on the SAEVA
website.
Thank you once again to Madaleen and Danielle at Vetlink for the considerable
effort in putting the Equine Health Update together.
