As Principal and Chief Executive of Ayrshire College, I
am proud of our many achievements and the substantial
progress we have made since the formation of the College
in August 2013. The College has a strong commitment
to the people, communities, employers and businesses
of Ayrshire as we move forward and continue to achieve
success in our vision to raise aspirations, inspire achievement
and increase opportunities. A core aim of this vision is
therefore, focused on advancing equality of opportunity
at the same time as tackling inequalities. I welcomed the
opportunity for the College to work with a range of other
public bodies across Ayrshire to develop a set of shared
regional Equality Outcomes for the period 2017-2021. I look
forward to the College playing its part in delivering on these
shared regional Equality Outcomes and to supporting and
enhancing the communities of Ayrshire.
