The government said the proposed expansion would give way for the construction of a bus terminus in fulfillment of the ‘Smart City’ project embarked upon by the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode administration. The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Abiola Anifowoshe, said some property would have to give way for the construction in the interest of the public. Anifowoshe, who spoke on Tuesday at a stakeholders’ meeting in Alausa, Ikeja, added that the present administration was against removing structures without duly informing the stakeholders. Photo: Western Union he National Institute for Trial Advocacy has trained 70 lawyers in the employ of the Lagos State Government in giving forensic-led evidence in courts. The institute said the training was pertinent to the opening of the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, noting that the training would ensure diligent prosecution.
