“ La Gozadera ” a live radio show through Rumba ( 106.5 FM ) is filling the city of Tampa with laughter . The show was born almost a year ago , in Rumba , a well-known station airing for many years through central Florida and now Tampa Bay ! The live show was created to bring laughter and joy to its audience , now even more so during everything that ’ s happening around the world and our Nation . Hosted by two seasoned announcers “ La Gozadera ” has had an amazing response from its audience in Tampa Bay !
Sarykarmen Rivera one of the announcers for “ La Gozadera ” was born and raised in Puerto Rico ; and has lived in Florida since the year 2000 . She holds a BA from USF , in News Production and Broadcasting . Her previous experience includes stints at WYUU in Tampa , FNN Hispana , Telemundo and Bright House ’ s News 13 in Orlando and most recently Univision TV in Tampa . She joins the Rumba staff as cohost of the Afternoon Show , “ La Gozadera ”. She is a self-proclaimed news and information junkie who loves to cycle on her spare time , married and is also the proud mom of a beautiful baby girl ( and a small Pekingese puppy ). Sarykarmen says-- ” La Gozadera is a space for laughter , fun and at the same time you get informed by receiving resourceful information ”.
Alejandro Acevedo the co-host on the live show , began his broadcasting career in 1998 , working for Dimension 103FM in Puerto Rico . He was hired in 2002 by SBS as the afternoon jock for a young Latin rock radio station , Cosmos 94.7 FM . After being noticed by many , he began doing endorsements and voiceovers for local and foreign products . In 2004 he relocated to Tampa where he joined the on-air staff of CBS Radio ’ s WYUU-FM . Later he started working for KQ 103.1 in Orlando , where he was hired as one of the On-Air personalities of the station . In 2014 he was the Station Manager for Salem Media Group ’ s WLCC in Tampa , to later get hired by Entravision as an On-Air personality for Salsa 98.1 FM in Orlando . And now he has joined the Rumba staff as co-host for the afternoon Show , “ La Gozadera ”. Alejandro says- ” La Gozadera is a place where you become free of stress and it ’ s like being at home comfy in your flipflops just having a great time , also where you can party and be yourself ”.
