SPRING AWAKENING NEW BEAUTY LOOKS FOR THE SEASON MADE BY TERRY RAYSON, BLUEPAISLEY ARTISTRY The biggest trend for spring and summer are metallics with dewy skin and a berry lip. The metallics can be worn different ways on the eyes, cheeks or lips. With this look, we focused on the metallic on the eyes and kept the skin dewy and highlighted. It is important to remember when doing such a look to make sure not to go overboard with highlighting. This will make this look too extreme. Also keep in mind if you do decide to replicate this look to go soft on the contour. With metal on the eyes and berry on the lip both should be the focus. If the contour is severe it will make the look more of a nighttime look. If you are one of many women who love a contour and highlight, then you should use more of a lip stain, gloss or sheer lipstick. T o start the glowing process I prepped the skin with the strobe liquid by MAC in the color Golden Elixer ($29). This is a great way to get the glow from within instead of looking too extreme. You can also use this only on the cheek bones before foundation. For a natural blendable and buildable look, I used Black Opal true color stick ($9.95). These foundation sticks are very affordable and work just as well if not better than expensive foundation sticks and leave the skin looking naturally dewy. These are also great for contouring the face. To apply you can use if made-magazine.com | 27
