Implemented on 31 July 2014, all employers must
start the process of developing and implementing
a Management System for Health and Safety
at the Work. There are different deadlines to
implement the management system depending
on the number of employees in the workplace.
For example, the deadline is 31 January 2016
for less than ten workers, 31 July 2016 when
employing between ten and two hundred workers,
or 31 January 2017 when employing more than
two hundred workers. The Management System
should assure the application of health and
safety measures at the workplace. As part of the
Management System, the prevention of accidents
and occupational diseases must be addressed
by all companies, in addition to the protection of
health and safety of workers.
