This project will remove existing pavement, repair the roadway, and lay a new asphalt road surface. To minimize the impact of traffic delays, TxDOT will utilize two paving crews. One crew will work on Division Street between Fielder Road and SH 360, while the second crew will be assigned to FM 157. The second crew is anticipated to begin on the Collins Street section of FM 157, and then move to the Cooper Street section, near the University of Texas at Arlington. All paving activities will be restricted to 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday; however, single lane closures will be permitted for miscellaneous preparation activities between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2019 and will improve seven miles of Arlington roadways. 6
