For the 2nd Annual Frozen Frogman Swim , we are teaming with the Travis Manion
Foundation to provide support for families of the fallen . The Travis Manion Foundation is based in Doylestown , PA and honors the memory of Marine 1st Lt . Travis Manion who was killed April 2007 in Iraq on his second tour of duty .
The motto of the organization comes from Travis ’ s answer to the question , ‘ Why are you volunteering to go back so soon ?’ Travis Manion ’ s answer in Fall 2006 at a Philadelphia Eagles Game :

FALLEN by Challenging the Living
The Travis Manion Foundation takes this beyond a military experience and message and brings it to local communities through personal involvement by people who want to give back . The organization provides veteran assistance when transitioning back into the civilian workforce , survivor support , leadership and character programs for youth .
The events on January 29 , 2017 are named after Fallen Heroes .
